Backlash trails Pastor Okonkwo’s N700k-a-year matchmaking platform

A Christian matchmaking platform, “Mentor To Marry,” launched by relationship coach and pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, has sparked controversy over its pricing, with packages costing between N70,000 and N700,000 annually.

According to a Punch report, critics accused Okonkwo of commercialising relationships after he had earlier criticised such trends, while supporters defended the pricing as payment for professional counselling.

Okonkwo did not respond to requests for comment as of filing.
