Malaga consider move for former Man United forward Anthony Martial
Former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial could be handed another opportunity to revive his career, with Malaga reportedly considering a move for the Frenchman. The 30-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Mexican side Monterrey in June and is available to sign outside the transfer window. According to Mundo Deportivo, Malaga are assessing Martial as they search for attacking reinforcements following Julen Lobete’s long-term injury.
Initial contact has reportedly taken place, although negotiations have yet to advance because of differences over Martial’s salary demands. The former United attacker has also attracted interest from two Ligue 1 clubs and has been linked with Everton. A move to Malaga could give Martial another chance to rebuild his career in Spain.
