Manchester United identify Club Brugge defender as potential Luke Shaw replacement

Manchester United are monitoring Club Brugge defender Joaquin Seys as they consider a potential replacement for Luke Shaw. According to GOAL, United scouts recently watched the Belgian full-back provide two assists in Club Brugge’s 3-0 win over Genk. Seys, whose contract runs until 2029, has emerged after United missed out on Nathaniel Brown and Lewis Hall during the summer.

Shaw, 31, is under contract until June 2027 but has faced recurring availability issues, making defensive reinforcements a priority. United could also revisit their interest in Hall, although Newcastle’s £75 million valuation previously proved prohibitive.
