Miss Nigeria Karibi-George wins Africa Top Model, makes Miss World Top 40

Nigeria’s Tamunosoye Karibi-George has advanced to the Miss World Top 40 after winning the Africa Top Model title in Vietnam, according to a Vanguard report. She secured the win on Thursday at the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest XVII, defeating contestants from Equatorial Guinea, Botswana, Kenya and South Africa.

Her victory automatically qualifies her for the Top 40 quarterfinals, alongside continental winners from the Dominican Republic, France and Vietnam. The 26-year-old, crowned Miss World Nigeria 2026 in June, previously won Miss Africa International 2024 in Ghana. She is a communications professional and founder of Beyond Labels, an inclusion initiative for special needs children.
