MoMo PSB names former Flutterwave executive Bode Abifarin as CEO

MoMo Payment Service Bank, MTN Nigeria’s fintech subsidiary, has appointed Bode Abifarin as Managing Director and CEO effective September 1, according to a report by Nairametrics.

Abifarin, former Chief Operating Officer at Flutterwave, brings over 23 years of experience in financial services, digital payments and business transformation. MTN Group Fintech CEO Serigne Dioum praised her “strategic leadership” and fintech expertise, while Board Chairman Michael Ajukwu cited her focus on financial inclusion.

Abifarin, who previously spent 15 years at KPMG and founded Strata Advisory, said she aims to accelerate access to secure, customer-centric financial solutions across Nigeria.
