Muslim man kills pro-Palestine photographer, friend in anti-LGBTQ hate crime

A Muslim man shot and killed a pro-Palestinian photographer and his friend outside an Arizona gay bar before turning the gun on himself, in what police say was a targeted hate crime, according to a report by the New York Post.

Ousman Ceesay, 44, shot Cameron Davis Capara, 33, and Vincent Anthony Siqueiros, 42, in the parking lot of Venture-N in Tucson around 12:30 a.m. Monday before shooting himself. Police said a note found at his home indicated the attack was motivated by hatred toward the LGBTQIA+ community and that he acted alone.

Ceesay, originally from The Gambia, had recently moved from Oklahoma City and faced past financial troubles.
