Netanyahu rejects Trump’s peace plan for Gaza…
Israel has rejected President Donald Trump’s 15-point Gaza plan, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisting Israeli forces will not withdraw until Hamas is fully disarmed.
According to NBC News, Netanyahu announced the decision during a cabinet meeting Sunday, marking Israel’s first explicit rejection of the proposal.
Trump’s Board of Peace plan envisages Hamas disarming as Israeli forces withdraw from Gaza. Netanyahu, however, said withdrawal would occur only after Hamas is “genuinely disarmed.” The Israeli leader also reiterated his opposition to establishing a Palestinian state, underscoring continuing disagreements over Gaza’s postwar future.
