Newly-elected Pakistani Minister faces UK child rape charges
Rukhsar Ahmed, 62, a former Azad Kashmir state minister re-elected last week, is on bail after his July 2024 arrest over allegations of raping and trafficking underage girls in Manchester in the 1990s, according to a report by Breitbart.
Two alleged victims came forward in 2024. Ahmed missed a scheduled police appearance last month, citing illness, though he was later seen campaigning.
Greater Manchester Police may pursue extradition if he fails to report within six weeks.
