NFF polls: Odegbami threatens legal battle over delegate structure
Former Nigeria international, Chief Segun Odegbami, has renewed his objection to the delegate structure ahead of the Nigeria Football Federation elections, insisting the process favours incumbents.
According to The Nation, he cited the expanded 106-member Congress, of which only 53 are eligible to vote, with 37 state Football Federation chairmen retaining their slots.
Odegbami described the arrangement as absurd and said his lawyers were preparing court papers to seek a restraining order halting the election, scheduled for September 27 in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
