Nigerian man found roaming US streets reunites with family after 10 years

A Nigerian man from Enugu State, Phillip Elobuike, has been reunited with his family after nearly a decade out of contact, following his discovery wandering the streets of Dallas, Texas, according to Vanguard News.

A Nigerian woman spotted him moving between buses seeking shade from the heat and, upon questioning him, learned his identity and hometown. She shared a video on Beyond the Scars Foundation’s social media page appealing for help locating his relatives, naming his mother, Evelyn, and sister, Josephine. Widespread circulation of the video eventually led to his family being located.
