Leeds United ended their six-match winless run in the Premier League with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road on Saturday. Noah Okafor scored the decisive goal in the 77th minute, finishing confidently after Harry Wilson picked him out following a throw-in involving Melvin Bard and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

According to The Yorkshire Post, Leeds produced a much-improved second-half performance after struggling to create clear opportunities before the break. Tottenham had enjoyed greater control in the opening period, with Mohammed Kudus and Omar Marmoush testing goalkeeper James Trafford.

However, Leeds gradually took control after the restart. Antonin Kinsky made several important saves, including an impressive effort to deny Sean Longstaff, while Lukas Nmecha struck the post.

The visitors also survived controversy when Jayden Bogle escaped a red card following a VAR review of his challenge on Mathys Tel. Okafor’s late intervention ultimately secured three valuable points for Leeds, giving them a positive result heading into the international break.
