Noni Madueke and Riccardo Calafiori spotted with Arsenal squad ahead of Anfield clash

Noni Madueke was pictured alongside his Arsenal team-mates during a pre-match walk in Liverpool city centre ahead of Sunday’s clash at Anfield, according to a report by the Evening Standard.

​The winger has been a doubt due to an ankle injury and faces a late fitness test. Mikel Arteta is keen to have him available, given limited options on the right wing following Max Dowman’s suspension.​

Speaking on Friday regarding Madueke’s status, Arteta said: “We’ll have a training session [on Saturday]. [We’ll] see if he can complete that full session and as I said, I will know whether he’s available or not.”​

There was further positive news as Riccardo Calafiori and Christos Tzolis were also seen with the squad after fitness concerns.​

Addressing their condition previously, Arteta noted: “They all trained today and they will train tomorrow. If everything is OK, they will be available.”
