Nottingham Forest complete £50m Liam Delap move from Chelsea

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Liam Delap from Chelsea in a deal that could rise to £50 million. According to ESPN, the England forward joins Forest for an initial £45m, with a further £5m available in add-ons, bringing an end to his brief spell at Stamford Bridge.

Delap arrived at Chelsea from Ipswich for £30m last summer but struggled for regular opportunities, scoring once in 28 Premier League appearances. Forest manager Oliver Glasner identified the 23-year-old as his preferred attacking target and hopes he can become a key figure in the club’s push for a stronger Premier League campaign.
