Obi to UNN: Release my academic records, I have nothing to hide
Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, has given consent for the release of his academic records amid reports of legal action seeking certified copies of his certificates.
Obi said in a statement on X, reported by Vanguard, that the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, could release his records subject to applicable laws.
“I wish to state clearly that I have absolutely no objection to the release of these records,” he said.
Obi also challenged other presidential candidates to make their educational qualifications available for public scrutiny, saying transparency would strengthen Nigerians’ confidence in those seeking political office.
