Obi unveils ‘Obidient Connect’ platform, calls for donations ahead of 2027
Peter Obi has launched “Obidient Connect,” a civic engagement platform seeking donations and support from Nigerians at home and abroad for his 2027 presidential bid, according to The Peoples Gazette.
The Nigeria Democratic Congress flag bearer described the platform as a tool to organise supporters “polling unit by polling unit and ward by ward.” Champions include Pat Utomi and Obidient Movement coordinator Tanko Yunusa.
The platform, accessible via obidientconnect.com, accepts donations starting from $10 (N13,000), with options to contribute $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or custom amounts toward the campaign.
