Opta supercomputer backs Arsenal to win Champions League
Arsenal has been named the favourites to win the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League, according to an Opta supercomputer prediction. The model gives Mikel Arteta’s side a 21.2% chance of lifting the trophy, ahead of Bayern Munich at 19.9% and Manchester City at 12%.
The prediction follows Arsenal’s run to last season’s final, where they lost to Paris Saint-Germain. The reigning champions rank fourth in Opta’s forecast with a 7.7% chance of retaining the title. The projection is based on statistical simulations and does not guarantee the eventual winner.
