Tinubu’s successor will come from APC, minister declares
Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Mariya Mahmud, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will continue governing Nigeria beyond 2031, saying President Bola Tinubu will hand over to a party successor, according to a report by Daily Trust.
Speaking at the launch of the City Boy Movement (CBM) in Kano, Mahmud declared “no vacancy in the Villa till 2031,” describing the youth-focused movement as a platform to mobilize grassroots support for Tinubu’s re-election.
CBM Director-General Francis Shoga said the group aims to reach 10 million members nationwide, while Kano state coordinator Nasir Bala Ja’oji revealed the state had already registered over 189,000 members, leading the movement’s drive.
