Osun 2026: Voting ends, collation begins as early results emerge

Voting has ended in several polling units across Osun State, with sorting, counting and collation now underway as first results emerge, according to Punch Newspapers.

By 4:30pm, 903 of 3,763 units had uploaded results to the IReV portal. Early figures showed Accord Party leading APC in two Osogbo units. Governor Ademola Adeleke (Accord) and APC’s Bola Oyebamiji both expressed confidence in victory after voting, while ADC’s Najeem Salaam alleged non-recognition of his party agents in several areas during the exercise.
