Over 80% of Osun results now on IReV — INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission has uploaded over 80 per cent of Saturday’s Osun governorship election results to its Result Viewing Portal, according to Daily Post Nigeria.

A check at 7:53pm confirmed INEC was keeping to its earlier promise on the upload timeline. Fifteen parties contested the poll, with incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke seeking re-election under the Accord Party.

Two candidates withdrew before the election, though they remained on the ballot. Adeleke had earlier won his polling unit with 57 votes against APC’s 43, as collation continued amid reports of isolated electoral violence.
