Oyebamiji meets with Tinubu following loss to Adeleke in Osun

APC governorship candidate in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Friday, days after losing the election to incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, according to Punch.

Following the meeting, Oyebamiji appealed for peace in Osun, urging both his supporters and Adeleke to avoid violence. He said the APC was still reviewing the election results before deciding its next steps.

Oyebamiji also disclosed that four to five people were attacked in his hometown, Ikire, on Friday morning, adding that security operatives had been informed. Adeleke had earlier visited Tinubu on Thursday.
