Oyinlola’s PDP faction endorses APC’s Oyebamiji ahead of Osun poll

A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, led by former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has declared support for APC governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji ahead of Saturday’s election.

According to Punch Newspapers, Oyinlola cited a lack of inclusiveness in Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration but insisted the faction remained within the PDP rather than defecting.

Oyebamiji, responding, pledged an inclusive government if elected. Efforts to reach the Osun PDP chairman, Sunday Bisi, for comment were unsuccessful as of the time of filing.
