Oyo govt expresses outrage over Makinde’s exclusion from Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode road flag-off
The Oyo State government has condemned the exclusion of Governor Seyi Makinde from Monday’s flag-off of the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode Road dualisation project, according to a Peoples Gazette report.
Commissioner for Information, Dotun Oyelade, said reducing the event to a political gathering was taking politics too far. The ceremony, held in Oluyole LGA, was attended by Ogun’s Governor Dapo Abiodun, representing President Tinubu, and Works Minister Dave Umahi.
Oyelade dismissed claims Makinde was excluded over leave, noting his deputy was available. He insisted the governor remained unperturbed by the development.
