Poor Nigerians are not independent-minded, we control who they vote for — Wike
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said Nigerians will re-elect President Bola Tinubu in 2027 despite hunger and insecurity in the country, according to a report by Peoples Gazette.
Speaking Wednesday in Abuja, Wike said the average Nigerian voter is not independent-minded, boasting that Tinubu would secure 25 percent of votes across the North. He, however, acknowledged the hardship in the country, saying a foundation had been laid and that solving economic problems takes time.
