Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly left the Portugal camp following a disagreement with head coach Jorge Jesus, according to Football Italia. The report claims the 41-year-old departed by private jet after Jesus confirmed that Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao would miss Thursday’s Nations League meeting with Denmark because of a muscular injury. AC Milan forward Goncalo Ramos is expected to replace Conceicao in the starting XI.

Ronaldo was left on the bench during Portugal’s 2-1 victory over Norway and subsequently missed three training sessions. Jesus insisted before the Denmark game that no player could influence his selection decisions, saying he had already informed Ronaldo that he would begin on the bench. Reports from A Bola and Marca subsequently claimed Ronaldo left the squad, raising fresh questions over his future with the national team.
