Rashford vows big week ahead after Man United are pegged back by Everton
Marcus Rashford says Manchester United must respond quickly after they were denied victory by a stoppage-time equaliser from Ainsley Maitland-Niles in a 2-2 draw at Everton on Sunday. United led twice through Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko, but Tyrique George and Maitland-Niles struck back, the latter’s effort arriving in the sixth minute of added time, according to Manchester Evening News.
Rashford, withdrawn late in the game, took to Instagram to insist United were unlucky and that results would soon follow, pointing to a big week starting Thursday. Manager Michael Carrick said Rashford was “feeling a bit of something” but had impressed before his substitution.
