Pedri dismisses Rodri partnership fears after Barcelona’s 5-0 Valencia win

Barcelona midfielder Pedri has dismissed concerns over his compatibility with Rodri after the pair helped inspire a dominant 5-0 victory over Valencia. According to GOAL, the Spanish internationals controlled midfield as Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the La Liga season with four wins from four matches.

Pedri, who also scored, praised Rodri’s composure and ability to retain possession, insisting their understanding will improve with more games together. The victory also took Barcelona’s league goal tally to 17, easing concerns over their lack of a traditional prolific No.9. The Catalan side currently lead La Liga by three points.
