Osun: Re-elected Adeleke reaches out to rivals as APC considers legal action
Governor Ademola Adeleke has appealed for peace and unity in Osun State following his re-election, even as the All Progressives Congress weighs legal options after Saturday’s governorship poll.
INEC declared Adeleke winner with 511,067 votes to Bola Oyebamiji’s 444,815, with Adeleke winning 19 of 30 local government areas.
President Tinubu congratulated the governor, urging inclusive governance, while the APC said it was reviewing results across all 332 wards before deciding whether to proceed to the tribunal.
According to The Punch, the ADC also demanded INEC explain a results-upload delay on election night.
