Real Madrid angry over refereeing ‘double standards’ in La Liga
Real Madrid’s coaching staff and dressing room are reportedly unhappy with what they perceive as inconsistent refereeing decisions in La Liga, according to Madrid Universal. The Spanish giants are believed to be questioning why similar incidents involving their players have not received the same treatment as a penalty involving Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal.
The frustration reportedly extends to Jose Mourinho’s coaching staff, despite Madrid making a strong start to the campaign. However, there is no suggestion that the disputed decisions were deliberately incorrect, with referee interpretation remaining central to the controversy. Madrid are expected to maintain their focus on the pitch as they prepare to face Elche.
