APC chairman shot dead in Kano bandit attack

The APC Chairman of Rantan Ward in Bebeji Local Government Area of Kano State, Alhaji Garba Buba, and another resident, Sulaiman Zunduma, were killed on Sunday night when suspected bandits attacked Rantan community.

Locals said the attackers opened fire during the invasion, with Buba later dying in hospital from his injuries. Residents, who spoke on condition of anonymity, described the attack as sudden and violent, according to Daily Postt

No group has claimed responsibility, and security agencies are yet to comment on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
