Reiss Nelson has left Arsenal after agreeing to terminate his contract with the club by mutual consent, according to The Athletic. The 26-year-old forward was entering the final year of his deal, with Arsenal holding an option to extend it by another 12 months.

Nelson, who came through the club’s Hale End academy, made 90 appearances for Arsenal, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists. He spent last season on loan at Brentford but made only 13 appearances due to injuries and illness. With interest from clubs in England and abroad, Nelson will now consider his options as he looks to secure regular first-team football.
