Richarlison breaks silence after De Zerbi makes Tottenham omission permanent

Richarlison has broken his silence after Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi confirmed he will not feature for the club again, according to the Daily Mirror. The Brazilian forward reacted on Instagram after De Zerbi revealed he would be left out of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup clash against Liverpool despite being eligible to play.

Richarlison posted “Why?” alongside a sweating-face emoji in response to the manager’s comments. The 29-year-old was excluded from Tottenham’s Premier League squad after being told he was not part of De Zerbi’s plans. Attempts to leave the club for Everton, Trabzonspor and Vasco da Gama subsequently failed.
