Richarlison transfer collapses as Tottenham exile set to remain until January
Richarlison is set to remain at Tottenham until January after his proposed move to Vasco da Gama collapsed at the final stage. The Brazilian forward had been told he was not part of Roberto De Zerbi’s first-team plans and was subsequently left out of Tottenham’s 25-man Premier League squad.
According to The Independent, Tottenham reached an agreement with Vasco over a transfer fee on Friday, but Richarlison failed to settle personal terms before the Brazilian window closed. The 29-year-old, who scored 11 Premier League goals last season, therefore cannot play for Spurs in the competition until January.
