Rufai Oseni: Gumi, Jingir, Fadahunsi, MC Oluomo can say what Nnamdi Kanu can’t in Nigeria
Arise Television anchor Rufai Oseni has accused the Nigerian Government of applying double standards in handling inflammatory statements, arguing that political, religious and ethnic affiliations influence who faces consequences.
Oseni made the claim on The Morning Show, while reacting to Senator Francis Fadahunsi’s alleged “kill Accord” comment ahead of the Osun governorship election.
According to The Morning Show report, as reported by Daily Post, Oseni faulted Fadahunsi’s claim that the viral video was AI-generated, arguing that his subsequent explanation contradicted the initial defence.
He cited Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, Nnamdi Kanu and other public figures as examples of differing treatment, saying, “There are some that cannot say it.”
Oseni also linked the issue to Nigeria’s political and religious divisions, including the debate over the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket.
