Rufai Oseni: You are delusional if you expect a repeat of Osun poll in 2027

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party winner of Saturday’s Osun governorship election, according to a report by P.M. News, which was announced on Sunday.

Reacting to the outcome, ARISE Television presenter Rufai Oseni cautioned Nigerians against assuming the result would be easily replicated in 2027, warning that political forces who failed to influence the Osun contest could return with a stronger strategy. He said the “federal might” witnessed during the election could be deployed “three times over” in the next general election.
