“Scam likely from Mogadishu” – Trump’s meme jab at Ilhan Omar

VIA PEOPLES GAZETTE ON X:

President Donald Trump has clapped back at Minnesota lawmaker Ilhan Omar with a meme calling her a “scam from Somalia.”

On Saturday, Trump posted a screenshot of an incoming phone call with a portrait of Omar without her hijab, captioned “Scam likely from Mugadishu, Somalia.” The post came hours after Omar labelled him the “paedophile protection party’s president” on X, accusing him of “laundering right-wing conspiracy theories” through the DOJ.

“Whenever the news turns bad, this creep reaches for one name: mine,” Omar wrote, referencing Trump’s call for her House seat to be declared vacant.

Omar has faced scrutiny since federal agents raided her Washington, D.C. home last week over alleged immigration fraud involving her former husband.
