Serge Gnabry leaves Germany camp ahead of Greece clash
Serge Gnabry has left the Germany camp and will remain in Munich while Jürgen Klopp’s side travels to Greece for Sunday’s Nations League fixture according to Bavarian Football Works. The Bayern Munich forward, recently returning from a lengthy injury absence, was reportedly withdrawn at half-time during Germany’s 2-0 victory over Serbia as a precaution linked to workload management.
Gnabry had featured in all three matches during the international window but will now be spared another appearance as Germany avoid risking a setback in his recovery. His departure could provide opportunities for younger players, including Said El Mala and Lennart Karl, to take on greater responsibility.
