Abuja — Vice President Kashim Shettima has requested a low-key 60th birthday, urging supporters against public celebrations or advertisements in his honour, according to a report by The Nation.

Turning 60 on September 2, 2026, Shettima, through Senior Special Assistant Stanley Nkwocha, appealed for no congratulatory gatherings or goodwill advertorials across media platforms. He instead urged Nigerians to channel goodwill into prayers for economic reforms, security, unity and national development under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
