Six arrested as police uncover baby-trafficking ring in Mowe

The Ogun State Police Command has raided a suspected human trafficking syndicate operating from an uncompleted building in Mowe, rescuing two pregnant women and four children.

According to a statement by deputy spokesperson Oluborode Opeyemi, reported by TheCable, six suspects were arrested. A newborn delivered by another rescued victim went missing at a hospital, leading to the arrest of the attending nurse.

The case has been transferred to the State CID for further investigation.
