Sowore questions N30m senators’ pay amid N500,000 minimum wage inflation claims

2027 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has challenged claims that a N500,000 minimum wage for Nigerian workers would fuel inflation, contrasting it with the N30 million monthly pay senators allegedly receive, according to a Daily Post Nigeria report.

In a post on X, Sowore questioned why lawmakers keep demanding more despite their earnings, while also alleging that state governors steal from public funds rather than sticking to their stated N700,000 monthly salary.
