Stop attacking me, I know damaging things about Obi — Datti Baba-Ahmed warns Obidients

Former Labour Party vice-presidential candidate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has warned supporters of Peter Obi, popularly known as Obidients, against attacking him over his political comments.

According to Daily Post, Baba-Ahmed issued the warning during an interview with Symfoni TV, claiming he possessed damaging information about Obi and the 2023 presidential election.

“Obidients are always eager to attack me. I have more damaging things to reveal. You attack me because I told you the truth about Peter Obi,” he said.

Baba-Ahmed maintained that he remained loyal to the Labour Party and would not be intimidated into silence.

His remarks followed criticism of Obi’s political alliances ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Some Obidients had accused him of betraying Obi and supporting former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.

Baba-Ahmed insisted that his political opinions were independent and that supporters should respect differing views.

He did not disclose the additional information he threatened to reveal.
