Sunderland agrees £25m Kevin Danso loan-to-buy move

Sunderland have reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur to sign Austria international Kevin Danso on a season-long loan, with an obligation to make the move permanent for £25 million. The deal, reported by HF World, will see the 27-year-old defender head to the Stadium of Light subject to completing his medical before the transfer deadline.

Danso joined Tottenham from Lens in 2025 after initially spending time at the club on loan, but his opportunities have become more limited following changes to Spurs’ defensive options.
