According to BSN Sports, the newcomers joined the nine-time African champions following their 2-0 victory over Comoros in the first leg at Remo Stars Stadium in Ogun State last Friday.

The players reportedly expressed excitement about receiving their maiden invitations and pledged to contribute positively to the team, according to a message from the Super Falcons’ media officer to journalists.

The invited players are Favour Omenazu of MK Dons, Tumininu Adeshina, Sandra John, Valentina Uroko, Joy Igbokwe, Farida Abdulwahab, Christiana Uzoma, Suliat Abideen, Fatimoh Solaty, Shakirat Moshood and Blessing Okpe.

The group includes players from domestic clubs and teams in England, Turkey, Portugal and Belarus, offering the technical crew an opportunity to assess additional talent. Nigeria will face Comoros in the return fixture on Tuesday, seeking to secure progress in the African qualifying campaign for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
