Mom of crazed Times Square killer questions why cops couldn’t grab her as she lunged at them with knives
The mother of Pamela Cisneros, the Queens woman shot dead by NYPD after a fatal Times Square stabbing spree, questioned why officers didn’t simply restrain her daughter instead of opening fire, according to the New York Post.
Cisneros, 49, stabbed Erin Piacenti, 32, a new mom, and Tak Kam, 68, Monday before charging police with two knives after Tasers failed. Her brother said she had bipolar disorder but had been stable on medication. Cisneros had a documented mental health history, including a 2019 suicide attempt. Piacenti, a Bank of America VP, had recently returned from maternity leave.
