Tupac murder: DA won’t rule out Diddy probe if new evidence emerges
Sean “Diddy” Combs could still face charges in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder if new evidence surfaces, the New York Post reports. Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said prosecutors currently lack sufficient evidence to charge anyone beyond Duane “Keefe D” Davis, convicted Monday of orchestrating the drive-by shooting.
Davis previously told police Combs offered a $1 million bounty to kill Shakur and Suge Knight, allegedly meeting him at Greenblatt’s Deli in 2008. Combs has denied involvement. Davis faces life without bail; sentencing is set for October 13. Combs is currently serving a four-year sentence on unrelated charges.
