Tinubu to Adeleke: Don’t stigmatise your opponents, reconcile with rivals

President Bola Tinubu has urged Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke to use his election victory to promote unity, not witch-hunt opponents.

Speaking Thursday during Adeleke’s thank-you visit to the State House,as reported by The Cable, Tinubu said the governor’s win, with 511,067 votes against Oyebamiji’s 444,815, was a mandate, not a conquest. “You did not conquer anybody. You won the election,” he said, urging reconciliation with opponents. Adeleke earlier thanked Tinubu for a free and fair election.
