”Too busy doing podcasts”: Roy Keane slams Fernandes and Maguire over Man Utd discipline
Manchester United legend Roy Keane has launched a scathing attack on dressing room leaders Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire, accusing them of being “too busy doing podcasts” to pull up teammate Lisandro Martínez following his public criticism of the club, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Keane claimed United has turned into a “circus,” taking aim at senior players for airing personal grievances on media platforms rather than fostering team accountability.
Gary Neville agreed that Martínez’s public calls for squad reinforcements indirectly undermined younger teammates like Leny Yoro, while former captain Wayne Rooney added that such outbursts risk tearing the dressing room apart ahead of Sunday’s clash with Leeds United.
