Tottenham drop Richarlison from Premier League squad

Tottenham Hotspur have left Brazil forward Richarlison out of their Premier League squad for the first half of the season, according to the BBC. The 29-year-old had been expected to leave the club after manager Roberto De Zerbi revealed that he had requested a transfer. A proposed return to former club Everton collapsed before Tuesday’s transfer deadline, leaving Richarlison without a move.

Tottenham have reportedly informed the forward that he is no longer part of their plans, although he could still depart in the coming days because transfer windows in Turkey and Saudi Arabia remain open. Richarlison joined Spurs from Everton in 2022.
