Trump defends his hair, addresses wig rumours

US President Donald Trump directly addressed longstanding rumors that he wears a wig during a speech at the White House Rose Garden on Wednesday evening, according to a The Mirror report.

Recounting a March 2024 campaign event in Dayton, Ohio, where strong winds blew his teleprompters off the stage, Trump said the incident proved he does not wear a hairpiece. “For years, I had to suffer with people saying, ‘He wears a wig.’ I don’t wear a wig… that night, they found out I did not wear a wig because if you did, it was not gonna be on your head very long,” he said.

Speculation about his hair resurfaced after a Las Vegas appearance in August.
