Trump vows immediate Supreme Court appeal over ballroom ruling

President Donald Trump said Friday he will immediately appeal a federal appeals court ruling halting construction of the White House ballroom, which requires him to secure Congressional approval.

According to Breitbart, Trump called the ruling a “National Security threat,” citing military-grade features including bomb shelters, missile-resistant steel and blast-proof glass built into the complex.

He argued the National Trust for Historic Preservation lacked standing to sue, and said the mostly-completed project was a “Gift” from him and “Great Patriots” to the nation.
