UNILAG shifts UTME results upload deadline amid portal glitch

The University of Lagos has extended the deadline for 2026/2027 UTME candidates to upload their O’Level results on its portal and JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to August 24, 2026.

According to Gazette NGR, UNILAG Registrar, Abosede Wickliffe, announced the extension in a statement on Tuesday, moving the deadline from the initial Wednesday date. She urged candidates to upload WAEC, NECO, GCE and Cambridge O’Level results on both platforms, warning that results not properly reflected on JAMB CAPS by the deadline would disqualify candidates from admission.

The extension followed an alleged portal glitch that left many candidates stranded.
